Studied Multimedia Programming & Design at Limerick Institute of Technology in Ireland, graduating in 2017 with 1st Class Honours. The degree covered everything from motion graphics and 3D to front-end development and UX — a generalist education that stuck.

Career path: restaurants (2013–15), first web dev internship (2016), then five years in-house at STRAT7 (2017–23) doing motion design and web development for global research brands. Left to cycle solo through South America for six months (2023). Came back, went remote. Contracted for STRAT7 again, built a full platform for CrowdDNA (2025), and now freelances across web development, motion design, and AI systems.

Six months cycling solo through South America

In 2023, after five years in-house, the plan was simple: fly to Colombia, buy a bike, ride south until the money runs out. The route wound through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina — roughly 7,000 km of Andes, altiplano, and desert.

No team, no sponsorship, no particular athletic background. Just a loaded touring bike, broken Spanish, and a growing collection of puncture patches. The trip reshaped how everything looked afterward — work, time, what counts as a real problem.
